INTRODUCTION

Continental Insurance Brokers Limited (CIB), a national risk and insurance management consultanc-
y company with a paid capital of CNY 10 million was established in 2003 with the approval by China
Insurance Regulatory Commission. CIB has its head office in Beijing and branches in major cities a-
nd business centres in China, such as Shanghai, Shenzhen, Chengdu, Kunming, Ningbo and Chon-

The main business of CIB is to provide professional risk and insurance management services inclu-

d by China Insurance Regulatory Commission.

Since Feb. 1st, 2004, CIB is an active member of the Insurance Association of China(IAC), an orga-
nization established by the China insurance industry with the approval of the Ministry of Civil Affairs
and under the supervision of the China Insurance Regulatory Authority. The objectives of IAC are to
serve its members, to protect the rights and benefits of the insurance industry and to promote its d-
evelopment.
