Arthur J. Gallagher Arthur Gallagher founded Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in Chicago on October 1, 1927. Already a successful insurance agent when he decided to build a business of his own, Art focused on commercial insurance and also pioneered the concept of risk management. Gallagher completed 142 acquisitions from 2010 through 2013. By year-end 2013, 23% of Gallagher’s revenues were generated outside the United States.
In 2012, 2013 and 2014, Gallagher was recognized by the Ethisphere Institute as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies. In 2015, the firm was ranked third in the Best's Review of World's Largest Brokers List. In June 2016, it was announced that Gallagher had joined the Fortune 500 for the first time.
Verspieren Group was founded in Roubaix in 1880 and is now the leading family-owned insurance broker in the French market.

The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers (CIAB)
The Council was founded more than 100 years ago, which is focused on building relationships with market leaders worldwide. The membership consists of 200 of the top regional, national, and international commercial insurance and employee benefits intermediaries across the country and around the word. Currently, 77 of the Top 100 firms on the Business Insurance list are members of The Council.
Worldwide Broker Network (WBN)
The Worldwide Broker Network Ltd (WBN) is the largest, fully integrated international network of independent Insurance Brokers and Employee Benefits Consultants. Founded in 1989, WBN has grown from nine member firms in Western Europe to more than 100 partner firms spanning the globe and serving clients through 500+ offices on six continents. In 2019, WBN is ranked #4 among all broker networks with an estimated $5.46 billion in Property & Casualty and Employee Benefits revenues annually. WBN members support a diverse spectrum of industries with a variety of needs ranging from International Risk Management and Employee Benefits to Private Client Services.
